Is it summer yet?

I know for a fact that I am not the only one counting down the days until finals are over. I am finding it very hard to find the drive for me to go to class, study, and do my homework because I know summer is on the way. I can't wait until this semester is over! It is crunch time right now, and probably like the rest of you, I have more work due in the next three weeks than I've had all year. Between papers, tests and presentations, I feel like I have no time to do anything but school work. (Sometimes I forget that's what college is for.) But counting down the days is stressing me out instead of putting a smile on my face. Once all my work and finals are done, I will be the happiest girl alive and a total weight will be lifted, but right now I am at the point where I feel like there's no way I am going to get everything done in time. I am trying to stay posivtive and dake a deep breath, and keep telling myself that summer is almost here.

Let me know how that breathing technique works for you. Does the library extend its hours at all during exams? Not that extended hours during exam week would help, I need extended hours now. I have 46 pages to write/revise by the end of the month, and the only time I have to do this writing/research is when I am not at work or school. So from 9PM - 9AM, assuming I wont sleep this month, seems to be the ideal time for homework.

I cannot wait for summer.

I agree with you. The semester is ending so soon, and I have so many papers due that I cannot even conceive how all of them are going ot be done.

Somehow, I just tell myself that I am going to get it all done on time because I have to, so it will all work out ok.

Just don't forget to take some time for yourself. Working like crazy will make you crazy (trust me, I know) so just make sure you take enough brakes and treat yourself for working hard.

I am counting the days until the semester is over. I don't necessarily want to leave my friends behind but the ridiculous amount of work is just not something I want to deal with anymore. There has just been too much already and I don't want to think about anymore work!

You are absolutlely right. All of the work piled up leaves little time for anything else. Why can't college by like the 60s' and 70s' when creativity and experience were the most important thing about school. It is because college is now a business and you can justify that statement everytime you see the coca-cola symbol on the football scoreboard.

I cant wait for summer either. All of this work and it will be awesome to unwind at the end. Then the only thing to do will be to kick back relax and not worry about anything.
