The Little Mermaid on Broadway

Hey Guys,
Last weekend I went to NYC with my mom and sister to see the Little Mermaid on Broadway. I've never seen a Broadway show so I was really excited, especially because The Little Mermaid is like, my favorite movie of all time. Needless to say, it was AWESOME. It was so hard to believe that it is really a live show, because the singing and orchestra are amazing. I mean...WOW!! It was a great experience. I highly recommend it to everyone. It's a little expensive (especially for us college students) but it is totally worth the time and money. Check it out!!

It sounds like you had a great time. I've never seen The Little Mermaid on Broadway, but I have seen other shows there, and it is definitely an entirely different experience there than anywhere else. The artsy and musical atmosphere of Broadway really contributes to any show, musical or play, that you see there. Now you made me want to go up and see a show!

That sounds like a wonderful time. I took my little brother to see The Lion King in CA when he was about 5. He had his hands over his ears the whole time because the music was too loud. This past summer I took him to see The Phantom Of The Opera at the Kennedy Center in DC (I've also seen that off Broadway). This time he LOVED it! I haven't seen a show on Broadway, but I am excited to now that I am so close. Maybe I'll just go see something in the city for now.

There is nothing better than seeing a show on Broadway. My grandparents took me to my first show when I was 6, and I haven't stopped going since. I make sure to see a musical or play at least once or twice a year. I agree with Angelina, it is definitely worth the money.

That's awesome! Yea, I love Broadway shows, too. Or off Broadway...whatever is economical at the time, haha. My favorite show is Les Miserables...anyone ever see it? It is really good, and I think that even people who don't really like seeing musicals would like it. My brother likes it, and he isn't really a fan of that kind of stuff.

The Little Mermaid? I use to love the cartoon when I was a kid. I never seen a Broadway show either but it sounds like you enjoyed yourself a lot.

Lyssa, I have always wanted to see Lion King on Broadway (or at least on "some"way haha, but never got the opportunity. Do you think it's worth the investment? And I actually saw Phantom last year at the Walnut Street theater as part of a national touring of the Broadway edition of the show! It was great!

Seeing a show on Broadway is like nothing else if you have never seen a show. I would recommend everyone who has not to go see one as soon as possible. I had the opportunity to see Cats and Phantom of the Opera and they were amazing shows.

Eric, definitly! I loved the music in the movie and it really is a great story. Plus the costumes in the show are amazing. Les Mis is playing at The Walnut Street Theatre this summer, I first saw Les Mis in London, will Walnut Street deliver in the same way?
